Training Babybjorn Seat
Welcome to my bathroom: A potty products vlog Potty training (yay!) a 20 month old boy? My son is 20 months. Is this a good time to start introducing potty training? I just ordered the babybjorn potty seat and it arrived yesterday. I put it in the bathroom and the first time saw it he said "potty", went and sat on it and patted his diaper. So he knows what it is! Yay! Before bed last night, I took his diaper off and let him walk around the bathroom and he sat on it a few times and pressed on his private part... not sure what that means but i think he knows what the potty's for at least. He didn't have to go though; his diaper was full. I think my approach is not to pressure him by making him sit there... I think that would be overwhelming and cause him to not want to do it. I think I'll just keep trying it before his bath and before bed and perhaps when I or Daddy go (he's a copy-cat). What do you think? it sounds like he ready, as you sead,no pressure, i bought my son a singing potty and just left his nappy off and sat him on it ,he done a wee, heard the music and he,s just continued to use it. we dont even have ask.
