Car Potty Training We recently started potty training our son. It is going great (he will be two in 15 days). He isn't using the potty the whole day yet, just a few times a day right now. He doesn't always recognize the feeling and doesn't know to stop playing to go potty yet. He has only done #2 on the potty one time, but was very excited. We are doing a sticker chart and for every five stickers he gets on his chart, he gets a small toy such as a hot wheels car. We are gradually going to go to no stickers or prize as he gets better at going potty regularly. This is what is working the best for us. I know that wasn't much of a question but maybe it will help someone who is having trouble potty training their little one. So, how is your potty training experience going (now or in the past if you are beyond that phase) and what "methods" worked for you? Brodie was 2.5 when I said I am done with diapers so I said ok its time to wear underware like your older brother... He cried for an hour becuase he did not want to pee or wear the undies. (I know doctors say it tramatizes them to do it before they are ready but he was fine) I decided to stay home for one week and get it over with he is fine and eventually only wore underwear that week and has been going to the potty ever since. Yes it took time for him to feel the difference between poop and pee which was hilarious he pooped 3 times standing up trying to pee but it came out of hte back end lol cleaning that up was not fun!
